A woman is in Hill County jail charged in the murder of her daughter and attempted murder of another daughter.
At about 9:49 p.m., a woman called 911, refusing to identify herself but told an operator she had killed her children.
Hill County Sheriff's deputies responded to the location she gave off of State Highway 77 north of Hillsboro where they found the woman outside of an abandoned home.
The woman surrendered to deputies.
The deputies then entered the abandoned home and found two children in a back bathroom.
A 12-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 13-year-old girl was taken to a Dallas Hospital suffering from stab wounds. There, she underwent surgery, and is reportedly in stable condition.
Hill County deputies are not releasing the name of the woman at this time. She was taken to Hill County Jail where she is charged with murder and attempted capital murder.
