Flight From McKinney Crashes Off Florida Coast

PORT RICHEY, FL - The Coast Guard is searching for five people whose plane went down off Florida's Gulf Coast.

Authorities say the twin-engine Cessna was flying from McKinney,
Texas, when it crashed Wednesday afternoon about 20 miles west of
Port Richey.

The identities of the pilot and passengers were not immediately known.

The Coast Guard says an air traffic controller in Jacksonville reported the crash at 3 p.m.
