Cleanup Today After Tuesday's Tornado in Beaumont

BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) - Cleanup continues today after a tornado
flipped vehicles in parking lots and damaged some stores in
Beaumont.
No serious injuries were reported in yesterday afternoon's
storm, which left at least 10 people slightly hurt.
Beaumont police say a man originally thought to have suffered
cardiac arrest instead was found to have had a seizure -- and he
appears to be OK.
The National Weather Service says the tornado, which struck in
northwest Beaumont, had winds ranging from 100-110 mph.
Roof damage was reported at a Kohls Department Store and a
Wal-Mart. A pet store, a book store and parts of a nearby mall also
were damaged.
Utilities checked for gas leaks and repaired power lines.
Beaumont is about 80 miles northeast of Houston.
