Temple firefighters were called out Monday morning to rescue a man stuck inside his vehicle from rising water.
An employee of the Wildflower Country Club was driving along a property service road when his vehicle stalled in high water.
The man told firefighters when he initially drove along the service road there was not much water but on a return trip the water had gotten much deeper.
Temple Fire Department spokesman Thomas Pechal says the man attempted to turn his vehicle around when he discovered the water was too deep but instead stalled the vehicle.
The man remained in his vehicle until firefighters ventured out into the water to rescue him, Pechal said.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
