8 Year Old Girl Run Over By SUV Driven By Sister

Tense moments Wednesday afternoon in Montgomery County after an eight year old girl was run over by an SUV driven by a sister.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and Splendora Fire Department were dispatched to the 26-thousand block of Pecan Grove, east of Conroe.

Investigators say the girl was about to leave with her 17 and 18 year old sisters, who didn't realize she wasn't in the vehicle yet. One of the sisters ran over the girl with a back tire.

Witnesses say the child was talking with paramedics as she was being readied for a helicopter flight to Hermann Hospital in Houston. No word on her condition.
