WILLS POINT, Texas (AP) - Authorities say two children have died after a toy four-wheeler that was an apparent Christmas gift went into a creek near Dallas.
Wills Point police Chief Scott Johnson says a 4-year-old girl and her 3-year-old brother were found Saturday in 2 feet of water about 75 yards from the home of their grandmother, who was baby-sitting them.
Johnson tells The Dallas Morning News it wasn't clear how the children ended up in the creek in Wills Point, about 50 miles east of Dallas.
Johnson says the grandmother started looking for the children about half an hour before a 911 called was made. He says the children had already been found when paramedics arrived.
The children weren't identified.
