Conroe Man Accused of Murdering Estranged Wife

An estranged husband is being blamed for the death of his wife and an attack on her new boyfriend in Willis.

Conroe resident Earl Handy, Jr.is charged with capital murder and aggravated assault.

Authorities say Handy was waiting outside his wife's Willis home Saturday morning. They say he attacked her boyfriend Joseph Taylor, stabbing him multiple times with a kitchen knife.

He then allegedly stabbed his wife Donna Handy in the chest with a steak knife. She later died at an area hospital.

Taylor is in stable condition.
