A West Texas sex offender is spending some time in the Brazos County jail.
Stephen Castro, 39, was convicted of molesting a 16 year-old boy in Lubbock County in 2003. The Shallowater Texas resident was ordered to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, but he was booked on a failure to register charge. Castro was also charged for violating his probation.
He's being held without bond pending his transfer back to Lubbock.
