A Texas Panhandle physician and his wife have been found dead in their home and police have recovered a gun believed used in the shootings.

Amarillo police say no suspects are being sought in the deaths of 71 year old Dr. Henry Norrid and his 53 year old wife, Carolyn.

Police located the bodies Tuesday after a friend reported that the Norrids had not been seen for several days.

Autopsies have been ordered. Police have not released further details on the shootings.
