Armed Motorist Shot Dead by Police in Dallas

DALLAS - A 21-year-old man is dead after a Dallas police shooting during a traffic stop in the southwestern part of the city's Oak Cliff section.

A Dallas police statement says an officer shot John Robert Husband in self-defense Saturday night after a traffic stop just off U.S. 67 near Dallas Executive Airport.

Police have released no other information on the incident.
