Average Pay in Brazos County Among Worst in Country

Getting a job in Brazos county might not be tough, but making the kind of money you want is the tough part.

Federal Labor Statistics shows job growth here is the 17th best in the country. By comparison, Montgomery county was 4th and Fort Bend county ranked 6th.

The government stats show average pay in Brazos county is among the worst in the country. The national average is 906-dollars a week. Brazos county is 721-dollars a week or about 37-thousand dollars a year.

Many of the surrounding county's average pay is higher than Brazos county.
