Bomb Squads Search Plano Home After Explosion

PLANO, Texas - The FBI and bomb squads have searched a Dallas-area home after a man allegedly carrying explosives was hurt when something detonated.

Law officers were at the Plano house until early Tuesday. FBI spokeswoman Katie Chaumont says no one has been arrested and the investigation continues.

She declined to say what FBI agents removed from the house after arriving Monday night.

Atmos Energy is cooperating as authorities try to determine what may have caused a gas line leak early Monday. Several 911 calls after an explosion led police to a seriously injured man.

Officer David Tilley says the man apparently was carrying a device when it exploded in his arms.

The man was taken to a hospital. His name and further details on his condition haven't been released.
