The reward for John Michael Enard, 58, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender and this month’s featured fugitive, has increased to $13,000 for information leading to his capture if the tip comes in during the month of February. Enard removed his ankle monitor Jan. 19 and fled from a Houston halfway house. He is considered a sexually violent predator and at high risk to re-offend. Texas Crime Stoppers tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

Enard has family in Houston and Lafayette, Louisiana. He is wanted for parole violation and felony failure to comply with civil commitment requirements. His convictions include aggravated rape-sexual assault, burglary of habitation with intent to rape and burglary.

Enard is 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 155 pounds. For more details on his escape, criminal history and additional photos, view his wanted poster at: http://www.dps.texas.gov/Texas10MostWanted/SexOffenderDetails.aspx?id=179.

One offender from the Texas 10 Most Wanted Program is featured each month in hopes the higher reward money from the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division will generate additional tips. The higher reward amount will only be paid if the tip comes in the same month the fugitive is featured. All calls, texts, e-mails and Facebook tip messages are anonymous.

Anyone with information can provide anonymous tips in four different ways:
• Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
• Text the letters DPS—followed by your tip—to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
