District 17 candidate Chet Edwards casts his vote Tuesday morning in Waco, something that's become a tradition with his family.
After voting, Edwards said he feels good about today and the momentum he's built across the district.
"The beauty of Election Day is, it is a reminder that the people are really the ones who's voices count and I respect that," said Edwards.
"It's wonderful to be here with my family. It's been a privilege to represent our district and I'll leave it up to the voters to decide."
Bill Flores, as you may remember, voted in Brazos County on the first day of early voting.
