U.S. Sen. John Cornyn will discuss the dangers of what he calls "Washington's overreach" before the Austin Economic Club.
In a speech titled "Too Big To Succeed," the Texas Republican plans to speak Monday about how excessive federal regulation has limited the ability of Texas and the nation to create jobs.
Cornyn is expected to argue that Washington has stood in the way of his state and the country achieving otherwise sustainable economic recovery.
The Austin Economic Club is a non-profit group that provides a form for Texas business leaders and politicians to discuss business policy concerns.
