HOUSTON (AP) - Houston police say a 70-year-old man has died after being run over by his pickup truck as he tried to use an ATM.

Police on Monday did not immediately release the name of the man who was pronounced dead at a Houston hospital.

Police say the victim was driving a Ford F-450 on Friday afternoon when he pulled up to an ATM. Investigators say the man opened the door and was partly out of the truck when the vehicle began to roll backward.

Police say the man fell out of the vehicle and was run over.

The pickup truck hit a car but that driver was not hurt.
