HOUSTON - A judge says a former Houston-area teacher accused of having sex with a 15-year-old Spanish-speaking student she tutored in language arts can remain free on bond after being arraigned on more felonies related to the relationship.
Kathryn Camille Murray, arrested in February on charge of sexual assault of a child, was arraigned Thursday on three new charges, two more for sexual assault of a child and one for an improper relationship with a student.
The Houston Chronicle (http://bit.ly/PT1fim) reports that 29-year-old Murray, who worked at Memorial Middle School in the Spring Branch school district, must wear a GPS monitor and not be around anyone younger than 18.
An attorney for her was not listed in online court records and a phone number for her could not be found.
