HOUSTON (AP) - Authorities say four individuals found dead in a home in the northwest Houston suburb of Cypress were shot.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office in a statement Monday declined to release other details about the deaths or the names of the victims, citing its efforts to "preserve the integrity of the investigation."
The four family members were found Thursday evening by deputies making a welfare check. A friend of the family had called for the welfare check because one of the adults hadn't gone to work in a couple of days.
The sheriff's office is urging anyone with information on the case to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
