AUSTIN – The reward for Dallas Wayne Waddell, 47, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender and this month’s featured fugitive, has increased to $13,000 for information leading to his capture if the tip comes in during the month of August. Texas Crime Stoppers tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.
Waddell’s last known address was in Whitney, Texas, in Hill County. He last registered as a sex offender with law enforcement authorities in 2004 and then disappeared in 2005. (The photo above is from 2004). He was born in Galveston and investigators believe he could be living in Mexico. If a tipster provides information that leads to an arrest, the reward will be paid even if he is captured in Mexico.
Waddell is wanted for Burglary of a Habitation and Parole Violation. His convictions include Sexual Assault of a Child and Aggravated Sexual Assault with a Deadly Weapon (involving a 13-year-old girl). Waddell has previously worked as a boiler maker, pipe fitter and laborer.
Waddell is 5 feet 4 inches tall and was last known to weigh approximately 160 pounds. He has multiple tattoos: a Jesus/heart/cross on outside right leg; lions/clouds/trees on upper left arm; and "Diana" on his left hand. He also has scars on his face, right hand and upper left arm.
