COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The wife of a Colorado prisons official gunned down at his front door last week told mourners that her life has changed forever.

Hundreds attended a memorial today in Colorado Springs for corrections chief Tom Clements. He and his wife were watching television when the doorbell rang last Tuesday night. Clements opened the door and was shot to death.

Investigators say tests confirm that the gun used to kill Clements was used last week in a shootout in Texas that left a parolee dead. It's unclear if Evan Ebel acted alone. A federal official says Ebel was a member of the 211 Crew, a white supremacist prison gang.

Denver police suspect Ebel was involved in the killing of pizza deliveryman Nathan Leon. His body was found two days before Clements was killed.
