GARLAND, Texas (AP) - Investigators say a Dallas-area man possibly wearing headphones while walking near some railroad tracks has died after being hit by a train.
Garland police on Wednesday identified the victim as 57-year-old Clarence Hodge of Garland.
Detectives believe Hodge may have had headphones on Tuesday night and did not hear the northbound train approach as he tried to cross the tracks.
Hodge was dead at the scene.
