Authorities are handling a British man's extradition to West Texas for trial on charges of trying to sell missile batteries to Iran.

U.S. Marshal Robert Almonte said Thursday his office is working on the extradition of 65-year-old Christopher Tappin, but he declined to provide details on when and where Tapping will be extradited.

After losing a final appeal to stop his extradition, Tappin's attorney in England said he'd be sent to Texas on Friday. Don Cogdell, Tappin's attorney in Texas, said federal authorities haven't given him any information on when his client will arrive in the United States.

Two other men were sentenced in 2007 to 20 and 24 months in a federal prison for their roles in the scheme.
