HIGHLAND PARK, Texas - Police say a man has been fatally stabbed and a woman wounded at a house in a wealthy Dallas enclave.

Highland Park police say no suspects are being sought following Wednesday's incident. Police have declined to say whether the case involves a domestic disturbance.

The Dallas County medical examiner identified the man who died as 50-year-old John Rodman Steele.

Sgt. Lance Koppa says police received a 911 call from the house around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday and then the phone disconnected. Koppa says some adolescent witnesses were questioned.

Koppa says the woman is hospitalized in stable condition with stab wounds not believed to be life-threatening. Her name hasn't been released.

Police had no prior disturbance calls at the residence. Tax records value the six-bedroom home at about $2 million.
