Montgomery County taxpayers will pay for the defense of a man accused of killing his sister.
A judge Thursday appointed an attorney for Jordan Boijseauneau.
Officers say the 19-year-old beat his 17-year-old sister Stephanie to death last month.
Sheriff's deputies found Boijseauneau hiding in a closet with a self-inflected knife wound to his chest.
The defendant's 15-year-old girlfriend was also found tied up in another room.
Jordan Boijseauneau is also facing a sexual assault of a child charge from May.
Police would not go into specifics about that case.
Montgomery County deputies are still searching for a motive in this killing.
