More rain is in store for most of Texas as a cloudy day is expected for the state.
A flash flood watch remains for all day Wednesday for the Guadalupe Mountains, Permian Basin and Big Bend. The National Weather Service predicts up to an additional 3 inches of rain for those areas.
A 50 percent to 60 percent chance of rain was on the weather dockets for the rest of South, Southeast and West Texas. North and East Texas were to expect a 30 percent chance of rain. Rain chances were to shrink to 30 percent to 40 percent Wednesday night for West Texas, with 20 percent to 30 percent in Central and Southeast Texas.
