Joseph Daniel Krueger, 36, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, is now in custody after being arrested in Blanco on Monday night by the U.S. Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, which includes the Texas Department of Public Safety. The Texas Mexican Mafia gang member was wanted for parole violation.
Krueger was discovered at approximately 10 p.m. Monday hiding inside a vehicle outside of a Blanco residence and was taken into custody without incident. He was in possession of a small amount of suspected heroin. See Krueger’s captured bulletin at: http://www.dps.texas.gov/Texas10MostWanted/fugitiveDetails.aspx?id=184. This arrest was not the result of a tip and no reward will be paid.
So far in 2013, DPS and other agencies have arrested eight Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including two gang members and five sex offenders, and $10,000 in rewards have been paid for tips that resulted in arrests. The cash rewards are funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division.
