Starting Monday, if you want to get your Texas drivers license, you're going to have to prove you've lived in the state for at least 30 days.
Under the new DPS requirements, you'll have to show two documents that have your name and address. One of those two has to prove you've lived in the state 30 days.
That could be a valid voter registration card, a utility statement, a concealed handgun license or a health insurance card, among many others.
