SAGINAW, Texas (AP) - Police say an officer has been shot while serving a search warrant related to the killing of a 6-year-old girl whose body was found wrapped in a tarp on a North Texas residential street.

Police spokesman Damon Ing says a person at the house in Saginaw where the warrant was being executed Tuesday also was shot.

Police provided no details on the conditions of those shot.

The naked, bound body of Alanna Gallagher was found July 1 in Saginaw, near Fort Worth. The warrant was being executed on the block where Alanna lived.

Matt Zavadsky, a MedStar Emergency Medical Services spokesman, says one person taken to the hospital had a gunshot wound to the groin and the other was shot in the head. He couldn't provide their names.
