DALLAS - A marketing firm says a guest at a Dallas hotel attached to company offices has been treated for Legionnaires' disease.

A spokesman for SuperMedia Inc. said Wednesday that the individual, whose name hasn't been released, was treated and released from a hospital.

Andy Shane says SuperMedia, as a precaution, asked its employees to work from alternate locations during testing of the scene. Shane says no other cases of Legionnaires' disease have been reported at the complex near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

Officials are not sure where the case originated. The bacterium believed responsible for Legionnaires' disease is found in soil and grows in water, such as air-conditioning ducts, storage tanks and rivers.

A message left with Aramark, which Shane says operates the hotel, was not immediately returned Wednesday.
