Record Cash Reward Offered For Most Wanted Fugitive From Weslaco

Authorities are offering a $20,000 reward during the month of March for information leading to the arrest of Gaspar E. Loya III, this month’s featured fugitive. This is the largest cash reward offered to date for a featured fugitive under the Texas 10 Most Wanted Program. Your Texas Crime Stoppers tip is guaranteed to be anonymous.

Loya, 37, is wanted for Parole Violation, Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration, and Escape. His previous convictions include Murder, Assault, Indecency with a Child by Contact, Reckless Endangerment, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Police, Burglary of a Habitation, Vehicle Theft, Forgery and DUI.

Loya’s aliases include Basper Loya, Jesus Espinoza Dominguez, Jesus Dominguez-Espinoza, Gasper Loya and Pipo. He has tattoos on his back, abdomen, chest, left hand and right thigh, and a scar on his left arm. His last known address was in Weslaco, and he is known to travel to Mexico.

One offender from the Texas 10 Most Wanted Program is featured each month in hopes the higher reward money from the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division will generate additional tips. The higher reward amount will only be paid if the tip comes in the same month the fugitive is featured, regardless of citizenship or nationality.

Texas Crime Stoppers, which is funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.
