'Ring of Fire' Eclipse Visible from China to Texas

A dazzling sky display will greet residents of Asia and the western United States Monday as the moon slides in front of the sun, producing a "ring of fire" eclipse.

Unlike a total eclipse, where the moon obscures the entire solar disc, the "ring of fire" eclipse leaves a blazing halo of light.
