A Robertson County teen has been arrested and charged with cattle theft at several Brazos Valley cattle auctions.

19-year-old Aaron Walker of Calvert was arrested Thursday for allegedly stealing 45 head of cattle. He is currently being held in the Robertson County Jail on $50,000 bond.

Walker is accused of stealing the cattle over a five month period from auctions across the Brazos Valley. According to authorities, only a few of the stolen cattle were branded.

Four additional suspects are being presented before a Robertson County grand jury for possible indictment.

The crime is considered a third degree felony. If convicted, Walker could receive up to ten years in prison and possibly face a $10,000 fine.
