A South Texas woman and her two sons who died in gunfire blamed on her boyfriend have been remembered as a joyful, loving family.
About 300 people attended Monday's funeral in Taiton for Brandy Cerny, 6-year-old Jaydin Thompson and 1-year-old Davian Bluntson.
The Victoria Advocate reports Cerny had a white casket. Her sons had baby blue caskets.
Demond Bluntson is charged with murder in Cerny's death and remained in custody Tuesday. Her body was discovered June 19 in El Campo. Bluntson is charged with capital murder in his son's fatal shooting that same date at a Laredo hotel.
Webb County officials did not immediate return messages Tuesday on whether aggravated assault charges in the attack on the older boy had been upgraded. Jaydin died a day after being shot.
