HOUSTON - Authorities say six people have been injured after shots were fired at a Houston music festival inside an arena holding several thousand people.
Houston police spokeswoman Jodi Silva says witnesses say a man opened fire on the crowd, hitting four other men attending the Houston Caribbean Festival.
The shooting caused people to flee in panic and two females were hurt as the masses tried to escape the arena.
Silva says the shooting victims were taken to hospitals, one of them in critical condition.
There have been no arrests related to the shooting and the Houston Police Department is calling for people with information to come forward.
Silva says off-duty policemen were at the festival but they were on the perimeter of the arena.
