Suspected Gunman in Lone Star College Shooting Arrested in Plano

The suspected gunman in the Lone Star College's North Harris campus shooting was arrested in Plano overnight by the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, officials told KHOU 11 News early Friday.

Trey Foster, 22, was taken into custody and was expected to be returned to Houston later Friday morning. Records show Foster has a criminal history that includes charges of resisting arrest and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Authorities did not immediately disclose how Foster was tracked down, nor were the details behind his arrest known.
