CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) - A South Texas man who had more than 12,000 child pornography images on his computers has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
A federal judge in Corpus Christi on Wednesday sentenced 64-year-old Joseph Fellhauer of Victoria. Fellhauer in October pleaded guilty to distribution of child pornography.
The investigation began in 2010 when an undercover law officer downloaded several child pornography items from a computer linked to Fellhauer.
His home was searched in April 2011 and agents recovered several electronic media storage devices. Prosecutors say the items yielded more than 12,000 images and about 350 videos of child pornography.
Fellhauer has remained in custody since his arrest a year ago.
