SPLENDORA — Two children who were found living in a bus in Splendora last March were returned to their parents last Friday.
Deputy constables said the children—ages 5 and 11 -- moved to the property near the corner of Three S at Circle H, just outside of Splendora, in 2009.
A short time later, their parents were arrested and thrown in federal prison for conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
CPS took the children into custody after a postal worker raised concerns about their living conditions.
The family still calls the bus home, but it has been cleaned up considerably.
Splendora is located 35 miles northeast of Houston.
