The Texas House Redistricting committee is getting to work on drawing new district lines for several elected positions.

The State House voted on House Bill 600, legislation drawing new lines for the State Board of Education.

The committee's chair Rep. Burt Solomons (R-Carrollton) introduced Thursday the first map redistricting state representatives.

The maps are attached on the top of this story and will continue to be updated as the maps are drawn.
