ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - There was almost a huge upset in the NCAA
West Regional where top-seed UCLA trailed until the final minutes
before rallying to beat ninth-seed Texas A&M 53-49.
Darren Collison scored the go-ahead basket on a one-handed layin
with nine and a-half seconds left.
Freshman sensation Kevin Love hit a couple of tough fadeaway
shots in the second half and finished with 19 points and 11 boards
for the Bruins.
UCLA now awaits the winner of Western Kentucky-San Diego, a
matchup of 12-13 seeds on Sunday.
