The Texas A&M yacht that capsized over the weekend is now back on shore.
Crews recovered the 38-foot Cynthia Woods vessel off Freeport Wednesday where it had drifted since its keel fell off Friday night.
Jay Kimbrough, deputy chancellor and general counsel of the Texas A&M University system, is conducting an independent investigation into the events that led to the sinking that killed safety officer Roger Stone.
