It's down to two in the search for the new provost at Texas A&M.
Purdue University's dean of the college of science, Jeff Vitter, is one candidate. The other is the University of Utah's dean of humanities, Robert Newman.
A&M President Elsa Murano says the search committee did a fine job of narrowing the field, and wants the community to meet with the candidates.
You can meet with Vitter at 3 p.m. next Tuesday in the Stark Galleries on campus. Newman will be there to meet with Aggies next Thursday at 3 p.m.
