Hundreds of trees will soon beautify the banks of Bee Creek in College Station thanks to a group of Aggie students.

The Texas A&M Replant organization will be out early Saturday morning planting 350 trees in that location. Close to 1,500 volunteers are expected to take part in this year's Replant Day.

Replant is a one day environmental service project aimed at beautifying the community while building camaraderie.

It started back in 1991 as a way to offset the loss of trees cut down for Aggie bonfire.
