The announced settlements of the remaining bonfire lawsuits Tuesday turned the page on a dark chapter at Texas A&M. But for those still coping with the aftermath, the physical and emotional scars are still present.
That's the case with John Comstock, one of the most recognizable survivors of the collapse. News 3 spoke with Comstock Wednesday who said he is continuing to improve after having his left leg amputated.
Comstock said he now works out at a gym and has continued physical therapy. He's not currently enrolled at Texas A&M but still plans to earn a degree. He said his goal is to one day walk across the stage to receive his Aggie diploma.
