Bonfire will be lit Saturday night in advance of the A&M-Texas football game.
Just outside of Hearne, Aggies are getting ready for the annual non-university sanctioned event.
It is set to burn at 8pm.
This is the seventh time an off-campus bonfire has burned and the third straight year that south Robertson County near Hearne is hosting the event.
Since the 1999 collapse of stack that killed 12 and injured 27, Texas A&M has not sanctioned the tradition.
