Funeral Monday for Aggie Who Died on Spring Break

Sunday marked the end of spring break, as classes get back underway Monday. Unfortunately, they resume with one less Aggie.

A Texas A&M sophomore who died in Florida during his spring break will have his funeral Monday in his hometown.

Katy-native Justin Delval was remembered Sunday during visitation. The funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday at Schmidt Funeral Home in Katy.

The 21-year-old general studies major was found dead next to a condominium in a drainage ditch. Toxicology results are pending to determine an exact cause of death, though authorities believe alcohol may have played a factor.
