You may not immediately know the name Pinky Wilson, but you probably know the song he penned.

It was last October when the author of the "Aggie War Hymn" had a statue dedicated on the A&M campus. Thursday, another monument was dedicated to Wilson, this one in Austin at the Texas State Cemetery.

Wilson graduated from A&M in 1920 and served in the Marines during World War I. Ironically, the monument to the man who wrote "Good-bye to Texas University" is just blocks from the UT campus.
