COLLEGE STATION, April 13, 2009 – David Riddle has been named executive director for the Department of Dining Services at Texas A&M University, effective April 13.
Riddle, who graduated from Texas A&M in 2005 with an MBA, comes to Dining Services from the Office of Technology Commercialization at The Texas A&M University System, where he served as director of Licensing and Intellectual Property Management.
“I look forward to working with the Dining Services team to improve the quality and selection of food on campus and to enhance the overall customer experience for all Texas A&M students, faculty, staff and visitors,” Riddle says.
Lallah Howard, associate vice president for business affairs who oversees Dining Services, said Riddle has extensive experience in the development and execution of strategic planning initiatives.
“David’s strong leadership skills and proven ability to work well with others across the campus community made him the best candidate to provide the guidance Dining Services needs to be successful,” Howard notes.
“I’m excited to utilize my past food and beverage management skills, in working with the Dining Services staff, to bring new ideas and concepts to campus along with a commitment to quality and customer service,” Riddle adds.
