It won't be long until one of Texas A&M's most recognizable facilities undergoes a dramatic makeover.

A transformation is about to begin on the Memorial Student Center. Wednesday, students and faculty got to see what the finished product will look like.

Architectural renderings were on display at the MSC. Also unveiled was the latest construction timeline that calls for completion by the Fall of 2012.

On May 1, students will mark the beginning of the homestretch with a special event called "Countdown to Construction." Activities will highlight the role the MSC has played in the lives of Aggies past and present.
