TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY Kyle Field may be quiet now, but Alabama fans and media from around the country have already started arriving in Aggieland.

By Saturday, the Convention and Visitors' Bureau estimates as many as 75,000 visitors will be in the area.

"Come prepared for some heat," said Mike Caruso, Associate Athletic Director for Events and Game Operations at Texas A&M.

Caruso says football fans headed to Kyle Field should expect Saturday to be a scorcher. They should also expect a packed stadium.

"We may approach 90,000 [fans]. We may get close to that this weekend," said Caruso.

Caruso says every seat is sold, extra seats will be placed on the track, and everywhere else will be standing room only. Some seats will be filled with high profile fans.

"There's an increased number of dignitaries that will be here. Everything from senators, congressmen, governors and military personnel," said Caruso.

That's one reason why extra security will be in the stadium and on campus.

"I fully expect there will be another 30,000 people who don't have a ticket and really have no intention of coming to Kyle Field," said Caruso.

Those fans will be tailgating all day.

Caruso says the interest in this game is unprecedented, and it looks like the turnout may be too.
