A&M System Board of Regents to Consider Change for Medical School

Posted: Wed 6:45 PM, Aug 01, 2012

The Texas A&M System Board of Regents meets Thursday and Friday, and the A&M Medical School is on the agenda.

The board will consider moving the A&M Health Science Center from under system administration to university administration.

Regents will also look at changing the names of seven agencies under the A&M System to include Texas A&M in the name, such as changing the Texas Forest Service to the Texas A&M Forest Service.

Kyle Field is also on the agenda, but not for an expansion plan, yet.
Regents will consider approval of a new nutrition center for A&M student athletes next to Kyle Field.
